A private, independent, Catholic School based on Lasallian principles, San Miguel School contains three core programs:
MIDDLE SCHOOL EDUCATION: Located in the Back of the Yards neighborhood, the Middle School serves sixth through eighth grade students. San Miguel is committed to equipping students with the resources to excel academically, socially, and spiritually.
Application Process- Because there is a waiting list, students who meet the following criteria will be given priority:
Family members of current students or graduates
Students who are academically at-risk
Students whose families are economically challenged
Students who live in close proximity to the school- The Back of the Yards neighborhood.
Parent involvement is required and agreed to upon the admission of every student. Parents are asked to meet with teachers or come into the school for progress reports every 3-4 weeks, participate in fundraising events, contribute to tuition cost, and be involved in adult education opportunities.

GRADUATE SUPPORT: Staff members provide youth development activities, leadership opportunities, financial assistance, and college readiness for nearly 150 alumni during their tenure in high school.
