The San Miguel Scholarship Program was developed to build the relationship between San Miguel Scholarship students and Scholarship donors. The goal was for our students to not only build appreciation for the gift of an education and gain insight and experiences in other social spheres, but for our donors to truly see the difference they make in our students’ lives on a personal level as well. Donors that are invited to participate in the Scholarship Program provide support for San Miguel with $10,000 or more, sponsoring the student for a full year of middle school at San Miguel

The program involves teachers, students and donors through writing letters of support, encouragement and telling stories about what is happening in their lives at school throughout the year. To San Miguel, relationships are everything. So we encourage donors to watch their same Scholarship student progress over their years at San Miguel.

San Miguel School celebrates our Scholarship donors and students with our summer Scholarship Barbeque. At San Miguel, family and community are our most important assets. Events like these build the San Miguel community not only between scholars and their donors, but also between donors and the students’ families and provide donors with the opportunity to celebrate their commitment to San Miguel with others who hold similar values.
