Program Overview
St. Joseph Services, founded and sponsored by the Daughters of Charity, has its mission in serving the needs of economically
marginalized people through networking resources, collaborative planning and implementation, in the context of "side by side" ministry
with San Miguel School, Gary Comer Campus.
Their outreach service means to work seamlessly with the students and families of the school,
the neighboring parish, the neighborhood community, government and social service agencies within the community to promote successful,
well integrated and healthy relationships in the Austin area. Their services act as an adhesive in the foundation of academic excellence,
family and community support services, ongoing spiritual development, and achieving success for people in the community.
St. Joseph services helps to staff San Miguel School with an Administrative Assistant, a School Social Worker and a Director of the Family Support Program,
who develops and implements programs for individual students, families, as well as for the community.
