 No painting, sculpture, artist or exhibition has rocked the Museum of Contemporary Art the way the fund-raiser for San Miguel Schools did last Thursday night. Organizers cleverly tied the party to the museum’s current blockbuster exhibit, “Art and Rock and Roll Since 1967,” and wound up with a swinging party for 600 guests to benefit a pair of independent middle schools in the Austin and the Back of the Yards neighborhoods.
